The Piper Embroidered Logo Cap Yellow is inspired by the Piper Cub and its historical legacy. In the mid-1930s, Bill Piper, together with Walter Jamouneau, developed the original Cub into the well-known bright yellow J-3 version. In 1938, powered by a 40 hp engine, it sold for just over $1,000.
During World War II, Piper Cubs were frequently seen in newspapers, often flown by wartime leaders such as Generals Dwight Eisenhower and George Patton across European battlefields.
