The Propper CWU 27/P Nomex® flight suit is designed to provide flame-resistant protection, durability and functionality in demanding aviation and operational environments. Used by all U.S. flight crews, it is manufactured to military specifications and features flame-resistant, non-melting Nomex® fabric, providing safety and durability during intensive use.
Its design includes a bi-swing back for improved mobility, reinforced shoulders to reduce wear and multiple functional pockets with easy access. In addition, it features an adjustable waist, zippered leg openings and a two-way front zipper for greater comfort and practicality.
Propper CWU 27/P Nomex® Flight Suit Features
- Made from flame-resistant, non-melting Nomex® fabric.
- Composition: 92% meta aramid, 5% para aramid and 3% conductive fibers.
- Manufactured to military specification YACL-WP PD 99-01 R.
- NIR compliant fabric (except black color).
- Felled seams throughout for enhanced durability.
- Two-way front zipper with cloth pull tab.
- Reinforced shoulders to reduce wear during intensive use.
- Bi-swing back for improved freedom of movement.
- Adjustable waist with hook and loop closure.
- Six primary pockets with additional accessory compartments.
- Adjustable hook and loop sleeve cuffs.
- Zippered leg openings for easier boot access.
