The Total Aero 100 Aviation Oil is a pure monograde mineral oil developed for the operation and lubrication of piston aircraft engines in light service. Its formulation contains a very limited amount of additives, incorporating only a small proportion of pour point depressants and antioxidants.
This oil must be used in piston engines where the use of a dispersant mineral oil is not recommended. It is also suitable for flights under severe or even very severe operating conditions.
Before use, it is recommended to consult the aircraft manufacturer’s instructions to verify whether a pure mineral oil such as TOTAL AERO 100 is appropriate for the engine or if another type of aircraft engine oil is specified.
Meets the requirements of J-1966 grade SAE 50, AIR 3560 D grade SAE 50, Joint Service Designation OM-270, NATO Code O-117 (obsolete), Continental Motors SIL16-2 and M-0. It is an SAE 50 viscosity oil for aviation applications.
