Built to withstand demanding environments, the IC-A16E features a rugged housing with IP67/IP54 protection ratings. It also delivers up to 1.5 W of clear, loud audio output—ideal for noisy airport settings.
Compared to its predecessors (IC-A24E / IC-A6E), the IC-A16E offers higher transmit power, enhancing communication coverage.
Its high-capacity battery provides up to 17 hours of operating time. A backlit LCD screen and illuminated keypad ensure easy operation even in low-light conditions.
