The Icom IC-A25CE is a high quality airband two-way radio that is packed with features. Supplied with everything needed including rechargeable battery, antenna, belt clip and desk charger. Icom IC-A25E is an 8.33/25 kHz ground to air airband two-way radio specifically designed for airside ground crew who provide aviation support. Often used functions are assigned to the keypad and you can directly access a desired function.
The enlarged flat sheet keypad offers smooth and swift operation. The 2.3 inch large, high contrast and high visible LCD displays user-friendly, graphic screens and ensures good readability under direct sunlight. The operating frequency in large characters can be recognized at a glance. In addition, the night mode option enables easy viewing in low light conditions.
FEATURES
- High RF output power of 6 watts. For the most common carrier type, output power has been increased to a typical 6 W (PEP) / 1.8 W (carrier) compared to the IC-A24E (5 / 1.5 W PEP / carrier).
- User-friendly interface. Functions are also assigned to the keypad, allowing direct access to the desired feature. Large 2.3-inch high-visibility LCD display.
- Night mode display. The high-contrast, high-visibility LCD provides easy-to-read graphical screens and ensures excellent readability even in direct sunlight. The operating frequency is displayed in large characters for quick recognition. In addition, the night mode option allows easy viewing in low-light conditions.
- Flip-Flop channel recall. Recall recently used channels. The IC-A25NE / CE stores the last 10 channels used. These channels can be easily recalled using the directional keys, channel knob, or 10-key numeric keypad. This is ideal for switching between multiple channels such as NAV and COM. Stored recall channels can also be freely edited (replace, delete, reorder).
- Smart battery with detailed battery status. The battery information screen provides detailed battery status. The supplied BP-288 smart battery pack (2350 mAh typical) delivers up to 10.5 hours* of operating time. Battery status can be checked on the battery status screen, which is very useful for optimal charging and battery condition management. * Typical operation with Tx: Rx (Max audio): standby = 5:5:90. (Bluetooth off, GPS on)
